IT Pie is tweeting on twitter

Well I’ve been thinking about tweeting for some time and to be honest I’m still not entirely sure of its value to our business (though I do recognise that it can be almost invaluable to certain industries) and I will blog on this later, but for now I want to anounce our arrival on Twitter and let you in on a little secret – I have a plugin which should update my Twitter account (This is a test) meaning that as I blog I Twitter, hitting two social media tools in one go and generating links back and forth between blog and Twitter.

I’ll post soon on my experience of setting up Twitter and the plugin used for my blog. But got to do some more testing first.

My first plugin

Excellent stuff, here it is…my first plugin – it’s not the most exciting, but it caught my eye and I thought I’d add it – it is a post rater, a simple like or dislike link for you the dear reader to like or dislike my post – hopefully you will like it.

I will write more about the plugins as I use them in the future I promise, but I just want to comment on how easy it was to get this plugin – this really has impressed me, especially when thinking about non-technical people using WordPress.

I spotted the plugin on my dashboard and followed the link to read the description, I liked it and hit install, wait 10 seconds and badaboom badabing it’s there installed and ready to be activated another click (three in total) and my plugin is activated – brilliant – so simple so easy and geekily satisfying.
