New Website | Ysgol Glantaf

 

Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf is a welsh medium secondary school in Llandaff North, Cardiff. They approached us about designing a new website as their current one had become busy and difficult to maintain. Being a school it is important to provide parents, students and staff with easy access to important information and documents, as well as providing relevant information for potential students.

Being a welsh medium secondary school it was also important that their new design was bilingual. This was done by creating the website in both an English and a Welsh version which could then be toggled between using a button in the header navigation bar. Despite a lot of information being on the website we made sure it was still easy to navigate and that the most important pages were quick to find via links located in the footer. We used a colourful and bright design throughout the website with various photos and backgrounds. The website is also fully responsive so that it works across all devices and screen sizes. This is important as in todays world many parents and students will wish to look up various information on their smartphones and tablets.
